The whole route in one table
An agent order has two payments and one waiting period, and most confusion comes from mixing them up. You pay for the goods first, the warehouse receives them, and only then do you decide how they travel. This independent guide follows the order BBDBuy's help centre describes, as read on 1 November 2026. Nobody here has placed a test order, so every step below comes from published rules.

Separate the two payments in your head: the first buys the goods, the second buys the journey and the taxes.
Steps 1 to 4: from the right address to the cart
Start by typing bbdbuyeu.com or bbdbuy.com yourself. The two domains serve the same content, and the second is the host that the first declares in its robots file. This site, bbdbuye.com, is only a guide. The interface can be switched to Romanian or Portuguese (Brazil) in the language menu, and the euro is the default currency.
Registration comes before anything else because product pages under /goods/ open only after login. Once you are in, copy the clean item link from Taobao, Tmall, 1688 or Weidian and paste it in the search bar, as the beginner guide suggests. If the link starts with m.tb.cn, open it first and copy the address that results. Next pick the size, colour and quantity exactly as shown, then look at the seller's domestic shipping, which varies by seller. A hoodie and a pair of shoes from different sellers each carry their own fee.
Purchasing carries no service fee on general platforms such as Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and JD. Special platforms such as Xianyu, Paipai, Zhuanzhuan, Douyin, Xiaohongshu and Youzan cost ¥10 per item (about €1.35 at the ECB rate of 30 October 2026).
Step 5: paying per order, and which methods suit you
The rule on this guide is to pay per order: pay for what is in the cart now and leave nothing on the account afterwards. BBDBuy lists Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, PayU, BLIK, Skrill, Trustly, Bancomat Pay, Bancontact, EPS, Pix and bank transfer, which is credited in about three working days. BLIK is a Polish scheme, so it will not suit most Romanian or Portuguese buyers, but cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Trustly are on the list.
PayPal carries a notice in the interface: its transaction fees were raised, BBDBuy recommends a bank card, and any amount paid in through PayPal must be used immediately. The percentage is not published. For the full picture on cost and complaints, see the BBDBuy review.
Choose a card for the first order; wire transfers are slower and leave your goods unplaced for days.
Steps 6 and 7: the warehouse and the photos
When the seller ships, the parcel travels inside China to BBDBuy's warehouse. When it is scanned in, the status becomes Warehoused. That moment starts the free storage period of 90 days. Between day 90 and day 180 a 28-day grace period allows a paid extension, whose price is not published, and after 180 days items are treated as abandoned.
The help article promises three free QC photos, while the homepage says three to five. Use them as a checklist: colour against the listing, the size label, seams, zips, any damage. If something is wrong, ask for a return within 5 days (120 hours) of Warehoused. The seller must agree, and you cover the seller's original shipping, the warehouse return shipping and a ¥5 service fee, about €0.67. Custom items, removed tags, second-hand goods, underwear, socks, food and opened items are not eligible.
Items with any side of 70 cm or more must be packed separately. Liquids and medicines may not exceed 10 % of a parcel, cosmetics are limited to 100 ml per bottle and 200 ml per parcel, and cigarettes, alcohol and medicine are refused.
Steps 8 and 9: choosing a line and landing the parcel
BBDBuy advertises over 150 shipping options, but its estimator is behind a login and line prices per country are not published (checked 1 November 2026). Open your account, read the quote for your postcode, and pay it as a deposit. After packing, the system weighs the parcel and recalculates by weight, volume and destination. Parcels of 10 kg or more, or with many identical items, may be treated as commercial.
Here is a small example for a buyer in Lisbon. A jacket costs ¥260 plus ¥12 domestic shipping, and the parcel weighs 1 kg. The line rate of €12 per kilo is an example, not a BBDBuy price.
At order: 260 + 12 = ¥272 → €36.60
At dispatch: 1 kg × €12 = €12.00 (example rate); fees ¥8 + ¥20 = ¥28 → €3.77
EU duty €3 plus handling fee €2, one category: €5.00
VAT base: 36.60 + 12.00 + 3.77 + 5.00 = €57.37
Portuguese VAT 23 %: €13.20 → total ≈ €70.57
The second payment, journey plus taxes, comes to €20.77 before VAT, more than half the price of the jacket. The shipping calculator repeats the arithmetic with your own line price, and the country page compares Romania, Portugal, Germany and the US.
Save your tracking number and invoice; a claim must be filed within 7 days of delivery or 45 days of dispatch.
Common first-order mistakes
- Sending items one by one. Consolidating avoids repeating the ¥8 handling and the declaration, and BBDBuy's own example shows ¥247 saved on three parcels.
- Forgetting the clock. Free storage ends 90 days after Warehoused, not after the order.
- Ignoring item categories. The EU charges apply to each category, so how your basket is classified can change the bill.
- Treating the QC window as open-ended. Five days after Warehoused is short.
- Joining unofficial groups for help. The only Discord invite to trust is the one linked from BBDBuy's own site; see the Discord page.

Do I need an account before I can see a BBDBuy product?
Yes. BBDBuy product pages, which carry a /goods/ path followed by the platform name and item number, open only after you log in, as checked on 1 November 2026. You can still copy the clean marketplace link from Taobao, Tmall, 1688 or Weidian and paste it in the search bar once you are signed in.
Can I order several items in one parcel?
Yes, and that is the usual way to save. Items arrive at the warehouse separately, then BBDBuy consolidates them. Its own help example for EMS to Singapore shows three parcels costing ¥568 shipped separately but ¥321 combined, saving ¥247. Storage is free for 90 days from Warehoused, so wait for the slowest seller before sending.
What happens if the QC photos show a problem?
Contact support and ask for a return or exchange within 5 days (120 hours) of the Warehoused status. The seller must agree, and you pay the seller's original shipping, the return shipping to the warehouse and a ¥5 service fee. Custom items, removed tags, second-hand goods, underwear, socks, food and opened items are excluded.
When do I pay for shipping?
After the warehouse has your items, not at checkout. You choose a line and pay shipping as a deposit before dispatch. BBDBuy then recalculates it after packing by weight, volume and destination and refunds or charges the difference. Extras such as bubble wrap, vacuum bags, reinforcement and insurance are optional and increase the total.
Is the BBDBuy app better than the website for a first order?
Not necessarily. The app exists on the App Store and Google Play, and BBDBuy links an APK version 1.3.0 from its /app page, and the help centre does not say the app does more than the website. For a first order, a larger screen makes it easier to compare QC photos and line options. Install the app from a store, or use the APK only from the link on the /app page.
